The rapid color-changing extrusion head employs a unique manifold flow channel design. Two colors of material supplied by auxiliary extruders are separately directed into the manifold to form the inner skin layer extruded onto the conductor and the outer skin layer (or color stripe) extruded onto the main insulation. This enables instantaneous and frequent color changes for color skins, single-color stripes, and dual-color stripes. All mixed material is injected into the inner layer with zero waste and no dead zones.
