Within high-speed intelligent extrusion production lines integrated with wire-drawing machines, these fabric-covered cables achieve production speeds of up to 1200 m/min, with extrusion output approaching that of PVC.

Equipment Parameters

SINGCHEER works closely with material manufacturers to develop specialized low-smoke, halogen-free screws and barrels designed around material rheology and processing requirements. This significantly increases extrusion output to levels comparable to PVC.
In the medium-draw system combined with the 120/65 high-speed intelligent extrusion line, production speeds for low-smoke, halogen-free conductors reach 1000 m/min for 1.5 mm², 800 m/min for 2.5 mm², 600 m/min for 4 mm², and 200 m/min for 6 mm².
The large-extruder 150/80 high-speed intelligent extrusion line further achieves a maximum production speed of 1200 m/min for fabric-covered cables, supporting direct conversion of 8 mm copper rods into insulated fabric-covered wires. This development marks a major breakthrough in the high-speed manufacturing of environmentally friendly wire products.

Application Scope

This equipment platform supports high-speed extrusion of multiple materials, including PVC, PE, XLPE, and self-crosslinked low-smoke halogen-free compounds. It achieves concentricity values exceeding 95% and dimensional tolerances below 1% of nominal diameter.
Compatibility extends to several pay-off types such as swing drums and end-shaft mechanisms. High-frequency preheaters ensure consistent conductor temperature, allowing tighter and more uniform insulation bonding. Advanced cooling technology ensures thorough and stable cooling even at ultra-high production speeds.
High-speed printing systems provide environmentally friendly, crisp printing results while reducing ink and solvent consumption. Low-tension multi-loop spray cooling tanks prevent wire elongation during high-speed operation, and three-stage dehydration ensures rapid, residue-free drying.
Real-time tension monitoring enhances winding stability, and dual-reel semi-automatic take-up systems enable smooth cutting and reel switching to support continuous, reliable production.
Both pay-off and take-up units can interface with AGVs to enable automated reel loading and unloading, creating a fully intelligent logistics workflow. Equipped with SINGCHEER’s proprietary CAT system, IoT modules, and smart metering, the production line supports one-click SCADA integration, ushering in a new era of intelligent, data-driven extrusion manufacturing.
